2 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup milk
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
Preheat the oven to 375°f or 170°c.
Put butter into large bowl and take a sifter. Then sift sugar right on to the butter.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Then, beat eggs one at a time.
Add the baking powder and salt to the flour. Slowly pour the flour into the mixture (don't forget to sift it), alternating with the milk. Stir in the vanilla.
Pour the mixture into your cupcake pan. Bake until they are golden brown on the edges. Let cool for 5 minutes.
